Chinese Americans were not treated equ onlyy and their survive in America was devilting worse by 1866, because the 14th amendment wasnt pertaining to them, they were not treated equally by the national official governing or society. This event happened in 1854; in the solid ground of California. The Chinese were the only witnesses so they were sent to certify, besides because they had come from Chinese descent they werent aloud to testify and the man was acquitted.
